Manager of Order Processing

Calabasas, CA

Position Summary:

The Manager of Order Processing will lead the team of Order Processors to facilitate the production and timely delivery of print ready files for the PlanetArt businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plans the headcount and defines order processors’ schedules needed to meet SLA based on forecast and patterns
  • Owns SLA for all brands
  • Attends meetings as requested to represent the needs of and provide updates on the department
  • Monitors productivity levels and encourages continuous improvement of quality and throughput
  • Interfaces with vendors to resolve problems with orders
  • Assists development by providing sample orders for new vendor integrations/changes
  • May be asked to conduct/manage acceptance testing of new OP tools and interfaces
  • Works with other departments to create sample kits and monitor VIP orders
  • Receives and validates feedback about team member mistakes as perceived by other departments (usually CS)
  • Processes orders
  • Other duties as my be required by the company

Required Skills:

  • Strong customer service background with supervisory/management experience.
  • Advanced Proficiency in Photoshop is preferred.
  • Team training experience will be strongly considered.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including outstanding spelling, punctuation and grammar abilities.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications: Outlook, Excel & Word.
  • An ability to meet deadlines and industry quality standards and an ability to react to high volume, fast paced and short turn-around time customer and management requests
  • An ability to deal with change in an effective manner
  • Sensitivity to customer issues—a creative thinker with a "can do" attitude

New Business Sales Manager, Operations

Under the direction of the Director of Operations, the New Business Sales Manager will be responsible for offering distribution; fulfillment and value add solutions to perspective clients. Ensuring proper on-boarding and project management to facilitate successful startups and continued growth.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Make outbound prospecting calls to grow business. Responsible for initial contact and qualification of new business opportunities.
  • Research potential clients.
  • Answer RFP /RFQ from lead generation tool.
  • Create PowerPoint Presentations; Sales Initiative presentations/updates; Capabilities; Customer meeting presentations.
  • Manage new client / customer onboarding projects.
  • Maintain inventory of and distribute Marketing Items; Marketing presentations; Customer Tour materials
  • Manages multiple projects at a time.
  • Maintain and update Website. 
  • Attend conferences and industry events promoting solutions.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

  • 5 years distribution and fulfillment operations experience with progressive responsibilities in sales and marketing.
  • 5 years’ experience on boarding and managing new clients.
  • 5 years’ experience responding to and submitting RFQ / RFP for new and existing business.
  • Understanding of product life cycle management.
  • History of growing and expanding warehouse / Distribution operations business.
  • Solid understanding and experience with global supply chain management.
  • Experience with the distribution of consumer goods to major U.S. retailers.
  • Experience with ERP / WMS systems, JDE preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Excellent computer skills.

Order Processor Web-to-print Services

Calabasas, CA

The Ideal Candidate:

We are looking for an independent, detail oriented, creative, intelligent and enthusiastic Order Processor who is driven to exceed customers’ expectations at every turn and is singularly devoted to their total satisfaction. The person we hire will be an outstanding advocate for the Avanquest Web-to-print business and will be dedicated to our purpose—delivering smiles.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

The position will be a contact for external customers. Under limited supervision, this position is responsible for order processing, quality assurance, and post-sales inquiries.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Ensuring proper spelling and grammar in all card and stationery orders, as well as proper photo placement
  • Carrying out advanced image enhancements including but not limited to: color correction, brightness/contrast, red-eye removal, object removal, blemish removal
  • Being completely dedicated to 100% customer satisfaction
  • Addressing customer questions relating to image quality and resolution
  • Other tasks and responsibilities as needed by the department.

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in Photoshop
  • Retouching sample work must submitted with resume
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications: Outlook, Excel & Word.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including outstanding spelling, punctuation and grammar abilities.
